Do other games work?
Have you left the wrong disc in the drive? i.e. disc 2 still in after install and it needs disc1?

Not got it to try, but if others work and this is a store bought game then take it back for an exchange or try it on another machine.

Do you have any virtual drive software installed?

Not sure on the copy protection on those games, but certain ones will check for virtual drives and have a hissy fit if they find any.

Make sure you get the latest drivers from nVidia first off to make sure it's not that.

Check the ones you have installed are the 169 versions just incase.
