my dsl company gave me this modem... http://us.zyxel.com/web/product_family_d...pNo=PDCA2007107 with my dsl service and it seems to work good. I have the 756k package and i get dl speeds of 640 and upload of 320 averages. Would it be good idea to upgrade my modem?

changing modems will not change your speed whether dsl or cable as other factors involved.
