I recently (this past week) upgraded my PC.

Here are my specs:

Windows XP Professional with SP1 and all updated patches from Microsoft.

Sony DRU-500A setup on secondary IDE Channel with the jumper set to master, a Memorex 52x cd burner set as Slave on secondary IDE Channel with jumper set to slave.

Here is what happens: When I put a dvd disc that is full of pictures, MP3's,etc into my Sony drive, it will not open. If I click on My Computer while the disc is in it takes for ever to open the My Computer Window. I hit Ctrl, Alt, DEl to chack out the Task Manager and it is showing up as Not Responding. This Also did this for a regular DVD Movie as well (Anger Management). The data disc was created on my old setup and it worked fine. Its a Sony disc as well!

I can put a regular cd in the Sony drive and it opens just fine. Say like a game or a music cd.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?? HELLLP!
