pal2ntsc required for Memento patched isos?

ok, I ordered s slim ps2,memor32 memory card,and downloaded the memento software onto my pc(vista os). I already have a few "backups" stored on my hard drive but a few of them are pal and not ntsc. I know patching is required for the isos to work with memo32, but my question is will the pal games play correctly on my hdtv through component cables? Or will they play in black and white and jump on the screen?

So to clarify what I'm asking, will I have to patch my pal isos twice? once to be able to play with memo32, and another to convert the pal isos to ntsc? If so what is the best pal2ntsc converter? and what settings would be best for a "32" hdtv?
