XP/Vista Dual boot problem

I was running XP and Vista on my system and I reinstalled XP. Now I can't access Vista at all. The bootloader menu screen doesn't load so it defaults to XP every time.
I've tried using EasyBcd in XP but that doesn't work. Is there a way to manually edit the boot.ini file to add Vista to the startup options?

NTLDR is a bit of a pain to use, i would wipe the partition vista is on
or reformat the disc its on:)

then dual boot using the same method you did before from XP,

Boot from the Vista CD and go to the Repair your computer. You may need to do it twice. It will find a problem and fix it. Then it will only load Vista. When in Vista use EasyBCD to add XP to the bootloader.
