snes9x on 3.71m33

This is frustrating. Since I upgraded to 3.71m33, I cannot get snes9x to work, i've tried putting it in all 3 folders, with 3.71 and 1.5 kernel settings toggled for each one. All I get is a corrupt data icon and a non-working launch icon... game cannot be started blahblahblah.

any solutions?

We are going to need to know what you're operating. Slim? if so make sure you are using homebrew that is compatible with it. If this doesn't apply to you. Do you have it in the "GAME" folder, not GAME371. Get back to me.

yeah, the problem turned out to be that I had an outdated version of snes9x (the one with Akuma on the home screen).
Aaaanyway, I downloaded the snes9xtyl4.2for3.xx or some such cluster-f*** of version numerating.

Thanks for the swift response, though. It's always a trip to me how many people are so ready to help on this forum. That's why it rocks.
