DVD+RW Drive won't read blank DVDs properly

When I stick a blank DVD+RW disc into the drive, it reads the disc, but the DVD+RW drive changes to a CD+RW drive and it reads the DVD as containing 0 out of 0 GB.

I'm not sure why it's doing this, it used to write DVD+RWs fine. Please help.
