I am using:
Free-AVG version 8.0.100
Virus Database Version 269.23.6/1403(Last updated April 29, 2008)
System: x86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 6, GenuineIntel
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2000
Windows Version: 5.0
Build Number: 2195
Service Pack: 4
Total Memory: 512MB
Free Memory: 102MB
(I know it is a turd, but thats all I got right now)
Last night during the scheduled scan it found a generic adware on my computer:
HKU\S-1-5-21-842925246-8439522115-1343024091-500\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\CmdMapping\\{c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a}
What does it do and how do I remove it, I tried deleting it in avg, and it kept coming back in the same place. I tried moving it to the Virus vault and deleting it and it kept coming back. I moved it to the Virus Vault and it kept it in there and the scan keeps find it in the same place where it was before. I tried healing it and nothing happens.
