i just flattened my laptop because itwas jammedwith viruses and when in device manager the audio card for my acer travelmate 2310 laptop show up as "multimedia audio controller". ive tried downloading the proper drivers on windows update and the acer website and no luck. my question is, besides taking my laptop apart is there anything i can download? a site i can go to that will tell me the make/model of my sound card?

also, theres a device called "pci modem" and im nowheres close to finding these drivers... will take any advice.
