Crucial Ballistix has been performing pretty poorly in recent months, I recommend you change it for Corsair XMS2 instead.
other than that your component list is relatively sound. One thing I have to ask though, where's your power supply?

I would stick with the Ballistix personally.

Look at getting a Samsung Spinpoint 500GB HD, they are just as good and cheaper.

In the UK they are, but in most countries the WD is usually the cheaper drive. Owning both there's no reason why either are really superior products. As for the Ballistix, have a read through our PC building thread, trust me PC8500 Ballistix is not a good idea.

At higher memory speeds are you sure? 2GB sticks seem to be just as fraut with overclocking problems as using four sticks is. I've made 350FSB with four sticks fine.

Can't test higher as even that puts me at 3.15Ghz. All told good 2GB sticks that don't cost the earth will probably be PC6400, and they're only going to make a 400FSB before they're going to start causing you problems.
