I just got my new psp version 3.71 and i cannot play any games from my memory stick. Can anyone help me please fix whatz suppose to be done so i can enjoy my psp.
First you should of looked around the forums thats their primary purpose, there's tons of information. So you have a new psp? Slim?--You are using official firmware. The data that runs on your psp out of the company. You need "custom firmware" enabling you to boot homebrew of all sorts, and in your case run games (isos). Since cfw is the only way that these things are going to be recognized you need to get your hands on a pandora. Pandora is a battery rendering your psp to be manipulated. Such as changing its firmware. Look up pandora.

I have actually read this pages and i have downloaded the file i am suppose to download onto my computer but i don't get get the steps on how to install it. however, when i put the datel tool battery in my psp with the memory stick..what happens is only green light and nothing else.
The Datel is doing what it is suppose to do, to turn on the green light. Since the psp cannot go any further it goes to its next function, to read data from the ms-- but not just any data. You are going to mod your ms.
It seems that you might have difficulty with this stuff. Here is a "hefty" package but it is worth it since it does everything for you. It doesn't get any easier than this kiddo. All you do is dl it and let it run plug your baby in and sit back.
-choose number 4 when it asks you.
-make sure you don't use a vista
-if you feel sketched out look on youtube for the "newbie easy installer".
-If for some reason this doesn't end up working, im sure it will-- Look up logical format.
i just wana no before i install the downloaded file shud i put the datel tool battery and ms in first before place the file. im sorry to worry liyk this ok but pls consider me.
Yeah you have a mean case of ocd. You're not to place the file anywhere but on your computer. It is an installer. Hence "easy installer". Just plug in your psp with the memory stick into the computer, open the program (the file you installed), and it is going to tell you to search for your drive. Whatever the psp is. Follow the steps, its very simple from there. I think im not sure, that theres one time that it tells you to take out the ms, if not dont worry about it.
