So I have the ISO of Crisis Core ripped onto my PSP's memory stick. Yay.

So I go to start it up, and I'm able to select the difficulty to play in, then while showing the opening scene (that you cannot skip, of course) it freezes at a part where it zooms right by some lights (right after what I assume is the date vanishes). After a little while, the PSP shuts off.

I'm using Custom Firmware 3.93, by the way. I've also tried using other ISO drivers; all have the same effect. Any ideas as to what could be causing it?

I'm thinking it was a bad UMD rip, myself, but who knows.

Yeah yeah, stuffs goes heres.

Well that's what you get for pirating a game. Buy the game and rip it yourself.

Well if you actually own the game rip it again. You have an up to date cfw correct? Then there's really nothing other than a bad rip that would cause this.

Alright, I will. I just didn't want to have to rip the game again if I could do something else about it, especially since something similar could happen with other games.

Yeah yeah, stuffs goes heres.
