i would also advise to download a-squared from http://www.freewarefiles.com/ its superb for malware but the scan does take a while and its a big program. approx 26mb i think. thats due to the amount of malware signatures now. if you do a full scan it gives you options what you want to delete or quarantine! be careful not to delete anything that might upset your system. better tae quarantine it.

actually Awola is a rogue anti-spyware program that generates popups. it is not a good program to have. you can remove it with smitfraudfix in safe mode. found this guide when i had it and it worked... Spyware-Techie Awola Removal Guide... only a few steps

Hi antonio.

Yes, getting rid of awola is relatively easy; what you have to worry about is how awola got onto your system in the first place, whether or not it will ever come back, and if there are other malware bundled with it.

For information on awola, visit these sites:

http://www.spywareremove.com/removeAwola.html
http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-awola
http://www.symantec.com/security_respons...-092415-3613-99

For a scan of other malware, I recommend a combination of Spybot and A-squared Free. Removal of everything detected by Spybot is fine, but with A-squared, please only post the log here without removing anything.

Best Regards :D
