Everytime i run the snes emulator it acts like its going to run a game and then it just freezes. After about a minute it blacks out and i have to resart my psp. I think i have everything where it belongs, but can someone help me troubleshoot this issue? I'm rather new to all the homebrew things.

first you need to give everyone the basic information on what you;ve done.

where exactly did you put the files?

what type of psp firmware do you have?

what snes emu are you using?

this is important info if you want answers

I put the emulator under PSP/GAMES/SNES9X

the games i put in four different places:
PSP/GAMES/SNES9X
PSP/GAMES/
PSP/
PSP/ISO

I'm using 3.9 M33-3 Firmware, and i already did the 1.5 addon thing.

I'm using Snes9x PSP 0.02(found at http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/psp/forthepsp.html)

Thanks

try PSP/GAME150
if you dont have a game150 make on in the same place as the game folder or format the memory card.

if it for the 3.XX kernel the put it in PSP/GAME390

hope that helps

Alright, now a second problem.
I can get it to load the games now, but they are extremely slow.

I have the speed set to 333.

Is there anything else to make it run faster?

Yea, i tried messing with the frameskip stuff and i got the music to play at normal speed but everything else was really laggy instead of slow.

Anyone know a way to just make roms run faster?

Or a better emulator that doesn't run slow?
