How do i burn avi's(or anything) directly to the hd?

Transcoding takes sooooo long! want to be able to reburn without waiting forever!

try outputting to imagedrive

also what you have burned make an iso with dvd shrink.

You can burn the AVI files as Data...however I always use NeroVision..it takes a little while but you can save the output files and reburn them as many times as you wish in around 7-8 minutes.

you can use neros imagedrive (make a file on HD in .nrg format same as iso) for both

I want to get put them on my hd for faster to dvd burn times in the future.....I have tried to put them to cd-r (700mb or less)also to no avail(says no audio)....pleezz help

When you acquire the files are they already in AVI format....if so then they are already on your hard drive as AVI files....the ONLY way you can save time by burning them to DVD is to burn as Data files....if you have already burned them to a DVD then they will be saved somewhere on your HD as "converted" files and they can be reburned quite quickly possibly around the 10 min MAX as no further conversion is needed.

Once mine are converted they are saved to these folders...yours will be named differently




I covered this in my first post so I am at a loss as to what you exactly want to do.

BUT....i followed you directions as you instructed,and i have burned many avi's but there was only 3 (out of about 25) in the folder that you specified.

What am i doing wrong?
