Ok so I just got HDloader for my ps2 and have ripped about 6 games onto the HDD via Winhiip. I played tested the games out and they all seem to work fine. So I decide to hook up my HDD again and rip 4 more games, but now I have a problem. First it starts to rip at full speed no problem but once it gets to about 80-90% finished it just stops ripping and doesn't pick it back up. This has happened to all 4 games and has happened using 4 different programs. I have a samsung sh-s203b connected to a via raid controller so I cannot upgrade the firmware, which is sb02. I can't figure out why the drive won't rip anymore and the searches I attempted here and pretty much everywhere else has came out bunk, so can anybody help me?

Nobody can help me out? or even know what is going on? I don't want to have to resort to RMA'ing the drive as it is only 4 months old.

I really didn't think it necessary to post it in the ps2 forums as its not really a ps2 problem, the drive on my PC is the one that is not working properly. But if you guys think that it needs to be here, I'm not one to argue. Still haven't resolved the problem so hopefully someone can see it here and help.

Have you tried to make an ISO and work from that?

That's what I have been trying to do, I used a multitude of ripping programs and the process always stops at around 80-90% and fails.

is the disc scratch free?

what rippers have you used?

My Lite-On drive sometimes has problems ripping certain movies where as my Pioneer rips everything. can you try another drive?

If the program you are using to rip the discs has any kind of speed controls I would turn my rip speed down to increase your chances of getting a better read without errors.
