hi,

hopefully someone here can help me out.

here's my situation. I need to pull a chip from a dead console and put it into a different ps2. As the title of the thread states , its a modbo V1.1

the ps2 slim's model # is SCPH-70011, I've looked and the motherboard version is GH-035-11


I have a few questions. I got another console with the model #SCPH-77001, will the same chip work in the new console? or does it need to be the same model # and motherboard version?

I don't want to swap the chip and find out its impossible to use it.

I also read a post about recommending that I check the fuses, butI couldn't find a diagram for my motherboard. The guy told me to check all fuses and that they're all labelled "ps" but didn't go into detail.
