I updated to 3.52M33 yesterday so that I could go to 3.90M33 today. My FF Crisis core save file was fine with 3.52, and then today when I did 3.90M33-3 it shows all my save files for that game are corrupted and won't open them. It won't even open my old backed up save file for it.

The other games I have seem to be fine (at least the ones I checked). Anyone else with this problem?

PSP Fat FW route over a few years now:
3.03 >1.5 >3.10 OE-A >3.40 OE-A >3.52M33-3 >3.90M33-3 > 4.01 M33 > 4.01 M33-2 ... > Gen D3

I've had no problem with that.
Looking at your sig you went to 3.90 M33-3
Are you using a slim or fat?
Because I have a fat only at 3.90 M33-2 and it works perfectly.

Yes, it's a fat. I don't know what would have caused this, and I was pretty close to beating the game. I might try a reformat of the card and then put the files back on and see if that works. Pretty much the only thing I can think of now.

Hello. I just upgraded to 3.90m33-3 (on fat) and I have the same problem. My save files for Crisis Core and Gundam Battle Chronicles are showing as corrupt!!!
Did anyone find a fix for this??
Please help!!!

I haven't had any success with it. I've been playing Chrono Trigger and other games in the meantime. I may start Crisis Core over again.

I did not try to reformat the card and replace the save files yet however, if that does fix anything.

Good luck :)

I trie reformatting and replacing - no joy.
Its happened because we were playing; for instance a v1.52 game on 1.40. I guess the newer games saved differently. Unless someone makes a save game converter (which is unlikely), were stuffed.
Crisis Core I can start again, but I played Gundam for over 60 hours. I had 8 Save Files, all with almost max everything.
I was SOOO P|55ED off i could barely sleep. All that time 'wasted' on that game and its all lost!!!!:(

I know that for my saves on Crisis Core I had the same problems, the files themselves are fine (I redowngraded and with no backup/recopy of the saves, and they worked fine), but the data from 3.40 OE-a in Crisis Core would not run on 3.90 m33-3......I even tried Deemer 1.10, which saves "unencrypted" save files, but it wouldn't load them at 3.90 for me... :(:(
