i just bought a psp slim. it's a japanese version (i'm currently in china) if that makes a difference. i'm currently running 3.90 m33-3.

two homebrew apps i want to run are flatedit & wifisniffer. i downloaded both of these. i attached the psp to the pc via usb and dropped the wifisniffer & wifisniffer% directories into x:/psp/game150/

when go back to the psp, i have two new icons at the bottom of my game selection, one is corrupted data, and the second is the icon for the wifisniffer program. when i try to open that i get the 'game could not be started (80020148)' error.

in configuration mode the 1.5 kernel is selected for homebrew, and all advanced configurations are disabled. i have fake region set to 'america' in order to get skype working.

i've tried putting the folders in the psp/game/ directory, but the same thing happens.

any advice?

also, i'm getting a lot of similar errors when i try to play backed up games. i was having this problem while running 3.71 m33-2, so i thought upgrading would help. currently maybe 1 out of 4 iso's work.

any thoughts? i'm new to this and am having difficulties!

well some homebrew like the one your trying to use wont work on the slim as there is no 1.50 kernel for it.

you need to find the homebrew that work on the 3.XX kernel (most new homebrews do)

as for the iso make sure that the no-UMD is set to m33 or sony

also if they still dont work its likly there bad isos

I also had this problem on my friends slim i could not get snesx9tyl ME to run on it i ended up getting him eloader 1.000 and running the reg snesx9tyl anyone know where i was screwing up?
