I have a few video files wich I edited in Ulead Video Studio, and converted them into MPGDVDPAL files. When I am compiling the DVD in NeroVision I still have to encode the files one more time.
Wich format should the video files be in, so that Nero vision doesent have to encode them one more time? Its very time consuming :(
As I understand it, in NeroVision, using a supported frame size (720x480 would be one supported size), the source has to be a 'headed' mpeg file - else the video will be encoded.
MPEG Streamclip (which I use on mpeg transport streams) can output 'headed' mpeg files - but I don't know how they differ from regular mpeg files - and since I don't have Nero installed at the present time, I can't confirm it by checking the time.
I do believe that 'DVD Flick' will accept an mpeg and author the DVD without encoding the source.
