i tried burning onto a philips dl disc with my sony burner which i have owned for 3 years. its burnt successfully dl's in the past, now im having probs with it. discs claimed to be burnt but are blank in the dvd players. i get i/o errors sometimes. i have kys1 firmware. most links are dead for updates. where can i get a newer version? what is my problem.

As for the blank discs, you are taking a chance with Philips.
They just put thier name on the outside.


You might get lucky and get the MKM codes.
They are Verbatim and the only DL worth buying!
