Hey All,

I am currently building a computer.

Parts I have bought:
Case: Cool Master Stacker 830
Power Supply: Thermaltake 1200W
Harddrive: Hatachi 750Gb
CDDrive: LG SuperMulti Blu-Ray reader and dual layer dvd burner
Monitor: Samsung 720p 20"
Keyboard/Mouse: Basic Microsoft one (with cords)
Anti-Static Mat
Non-magnetic PC tool kit

Parts I am going to buy next week:
Motherboard: eVGA 790i
Video Card: BFG 9800GTX 1GB
Processor: Intel Quad 2.66Ghz
RAM: 2x2GB Patriot Viper 1333Mhz DDR3
CPU Fan: Freezer 7 Pro
Artic Silver
Cooler Master Case Fans

Any input would be great in terms of actually building it. I have never done it before, but I have been researching. I figure I will have to change my stock bridge voltage for my DDR3 for my MB to read it.

I will be installing another harddrive soon after it is built if all goes well

I would like to know how my fans should face.

How will I know if my fan blows air in or out?
Also what way should my PS fan face? I have it facing out of the case (blowing the hot air created by the PS out of the case??) but I have seen some with the PS fan side facing in. I am especially concerned about the CPU fan direction as well.

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

ALSO,
How do I go about installing a triple boot system consisting of:
Windows XP Black 32 bit
Windows Vista Corporate 64 bit (or whatever you recommend)
Ubuntu or Fedora Core (I am a half-noob...can't install Arch-Linux)

MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE...and wish me luck

xfx 790i P08 Bios
Q6600 at 3.4GHz
Patriot Viper DDR3 1600MHz 7-7-7-20-1T
GTX280 710 core clock i think

Looking good, but I recommend you get an XFX motherboard, not an EVGA, as the XFX ones are better quality.

With case fans, the usual tradition is Front IN, Side IN, Top OUT, Rear OUT.

Also be advised that you needn't have bought a 1200W PSU, your system will actually only need about 500W tops.

Hmmm. Okay. XFX are better than eVGA, I herd the other way around. Could you give me some reasons because I have no idea which one is better.

XFX and EVGA used to both be market leaders in technology and performance, but lately the quality of EVGA products has dropped sharply with a number of reports of faulty components. XFX have had far fewer complaints.

Indeed. We may be a bit too late on the call for this one. I had no idea it was going to be this soon.
