TWEWY freezing problems (R4 card)

Can someone please help me with this?I'm on day 7 of PAL version of The World Ends With You and have to fight a battle to proceed with the story.However everytime I try it, the battle freezes after about 7-8 seconds, even if I've managed to beat the enemies in that time!!!I've tried it now with a few different roms (including the american edition) and a few different R4 firmwares, and can't manage to pass it at all.Can someone whose managed to pass this give me any advice on how to do it?Any help would be really appreciated thanks!
