Hello all, I just snagged a NEC 8x Dual Format drive, with free shiping for 123 bucks!! yay! I was just wondering what the best, cheapest media would be for me to backup my movies, and games for xbox and PS2. I want to make sure I get the full potential out of this drive! thanks!

I use datawrite+r up to 4 speed NEVER had a problem ......they are about 75 p each over here

For the "best, cheapest" category it's hard to beat Ritek. They can be had for around a buck apiece (give or take) and are a superior disc. Untold amounts of problems can be attributed to cheap low quality discs. You can also cruise the PS2 forum here to see what people recommend there as well. I don't have a PS2 so I'm not familiar with what works best for them but Ritek is tops for movies.
