Can modded xbox play rmvb file?

Hi,
I am new to this.
Can anyone tell me if I mod my xbox can I play rmvb movie file through xbox's DVD rom? or I have to save the file into xbox's internal HHD?

Do you have XBMC? If you got it off of the AID disk, you might want to get the latest version via T3CH's page, since RMVB is a relatively new file format.
