How to put movies onto a LG RUMOR

ok just bought a LG rumor. I have a 2 GB micro sd to put stuff on and use in my Rumor. I formated it then put some songs on it and it worked fine. now i want to try to put a movie on it. I tried putting an avi on to my micro but it didnt work then i though maybe it needs a specific format so i made a video on my cell and uploaded it to my computer and its in 3GPP2 format. Anyone know how to get a movie to play on my LG rumor?
