This is not your avargae post into asking how to actually fix dead pixels,
i need to create just a few more dead pixels in order to able to return my TV and get it replaced.
I order this HDTV Plasma off of newegg. I have 6 dead pixels and they irritating. i contacted them about it. and they said they will only return it, IF it has 8 dead pixels or more. I think is total crap so i need to created two more dead pixels in order to get a replacement with hopefully no dead pixel at all.
anyone?

just be very careful and bang the tv around a bit... the glass, the back, etc... don't wanna crack the glass because i don't think that's covered, if it is... make it look real.

Try using a big magnet... It has a tendancy to destroy electronics...

What you are asking for is the complete opposite of what we would ever do. You may have to wait a while till you meet up with that rare individual whom has this unique kind of knowledge.
Of course, if by some chance, you fed the tv with something other than 60Hz power, say 1KHz, your return requirements may just be solved.

hook it up to 220v instead of 110v that should do the trick... or just few little drops of water into the back... should create a nice little smoke show, and depending on the return policies, you should be all set...

Like I said, double check the return policies of newegg and double check if you'd be able to sneak something like that back...

Just blows a fuse. Easily corrected and you get the same dud of a tv back.

well there's gotta be a way to break something internally (without electrocuting yourself!) to the point of they'd need to send you a new TV...

By using a frequency generator plugged into the ac socket, this will do it.

Newegg's return policy does not accepts jig saw puzzles as returns.
