i got an iso of nascar dirt to daytona i think it is ntsc i have a modchip installed and have many successful backs ups but im haveing trouble with this the screen is in full color but flickers almost like you are blinking alot i have my chip set to force ntsc so even if it was pal it should still come up fine anyone have any idea whats wrong? help would be much apericiated i have wasted a few dvd's already

What other options have you tried? If the game is PAL, and you force NTSC, does this always work 100%?

the .iso has a folder Named DATA then 2 files slps_250.26 and system the data folder has other folders like tracks videos, etc. i just now noticed my computer says the disc name is SLUS_20441 but the file in the disc says SLPS_250.26
and i have played pal games on my ps2 using the force ntsc option on toxic os and it worked in the past on a few games (sims 2 and ace combat 0)and i also tryed patching the file with a ps2 pal2ntsc patcher and that dident work either

Well here might be the problem. SLPS_250.26 is the ID for 'Dead or Alive 2 - Hardcore [NTSC-J]'

SLUS_20441 is the correct ID for NASCAR Dirt to Daytona [NTSC-U]
So I'm thinking this .iso was improperly rebuilt. Cause the file in the .iso is the one that counts, not the name of the disc.

so is there any way i can rebuild the image and change it to the proper id or am i just out of luck thanks very much for your reply

You could rebuild the image if you replaced the SLPS_250.26 file with the proper one (SLUS_20441). You would have to obtain that file from someone who has a working .iso of the game (or the original).

Then again if that file was not the right one it may also be that the DATA folders are not correct as well. What is your source for the image?

i downloaded it from some blog in portuguese thats the only place i could find it ive been looking for it for a while now i checked another iso they had and it does the same thing so i think the images are just bad
