Hi all
I'm having a big problem here
My computer is a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P
And i have it for about 2 years now
Its working great didnt have much problems with it
Until i got on vacation and came back
I wanted to boot up my comp and it didnt do anything
It just went on all the fans where spinning and he didnt boot up
I couldnt get into setup/bios all i could was open the 2 dvd rom drives

After 1000 times of turning it on and off
I could get into the bios system temperature was 50 degrees
Dont know if that is too hot
But i opened up my comp breaking the warranty seal cause it was over by now and cleaned all
After that i could boot from my recovery dvd
Woopie i thought everything was going to be fine
I made new partitions and he formatted my C drive
Point is after formatting he needed to reboot to install windows
That was the last time i saw my computer boot up from my dvd
Point is he doesnt boot at all AGAIN

After leaving the power off for the night i tried it again this morning to boot him up
He got to the Fujitsu Siemens logo and i pressed DEL like a mad man
Maybe i needed to reset bios settings or something
But he doesnt want to enter
When he does gets to the Fujitsu Siemens logo i only hear one beep
And sometimes i hear a weird clicking sound

Maybe someone knows whats going on with my computer
If so i'll be very gratefull
I hope this info is helpfull enough and that someone can help me

a weird clicking sound... can you describe it? There may be a fault with your hard disk that's preventing the PC from getting past P.O.S.T.

Like a couple of krr krr sounds
But it doesnt always make those clicking sounds just one time
But after the fujitsu siemens logo comes on it freezes
So fast i cant even enter Bios
Which troubles me
Also last time i checked temperature (After cleaning it)
Btw what is POST?

Would it help to take out my HDD and put it back in?

try taking out your hard disk altogether, if it's the cause of the problem the PC will at least get as far as the BIOS.

POST = power on self test, the part of the BIOS you see every time you turn your PC on.
