Hi all i hope i can be helped as this is really getting to me now and im still not sure if its all intertwined but ill start with the more important issues.

1. The first problem is recently the system has starting to run more slow so as normal i would run a reg checker virus check malware and trojans and nothing major has been found but repaired anything else that may cause it. I have run hijackthis but an error occured that it couldnt run because of the host file so now im stumped as its still running slow lags are eternal and im stumped hope you can help me.

2. A problem that ive heard exists but so many sollutions that havnt helped, my NEW hp laptop has begun to charge strangly on days saying "plugged in, not charging" ive updated bios, reinstalled drivers for battery and checked everything else i can found. The battery is fine according to everything ive checked however is this something that can be fixed or is it yet again anther vista annoyance.
