Every time I try to burn a dvd it ends up transcoding it & then starts to burn it.. But by the end it says it was unable to burn a dvd & it states all these errors. Some of the errors have been:

I haven't been able to burn a dvd since I got the burned installed & I've never had a burner before so am somewhat lost on what to do. Also one question I have is what do all these error messages mean? But also what format does the file I am burning need to be? Does it need to be a vod or a mpeg2? If someone could please help me be on my way to burning my first dvd & respond to what I have written it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Yep iv'e had that problem before,the problem i found was that the dvdr discs i used to burn with were dud ones,there were three out of a pack of fifty,then all the other ones from that pack were perfect,so before you start trashing your pc try other disc brands,also i never used those disc brand again.
