Was just wondering if there was a way to convert Composite (think its called S-Video or RCA)(Yellow, Red, and White plugs) to Component (Y,Pb,Pr)(Red, Blue, and Green plugs) for use with a HDTV?
My HDTV has a scart in the back, but looks bad =/ (kinda looks like a video taken with a cheap mobile phone)
I wanna use my FreeView Box, PSX, Dreamcast, and Gamecube on this TV, but can't stand the way it looks, and don't have the money to buy a new TV =/
Is there any kinda adapter to use Composite output in the Component sockets, so I can enjoy watching TV and playing old games again?
I don't care if it doesn't look HD, Standard will be great! ANYTHING better then what it looks like at the moment would be fantasic.
The main thing is the FreeView Box and GameCube, but the Component for GameCube costs too much money =/
so I through it would be worth submitting this to see if theres something out there to fix them all.
I've mostly seen VGA to component adapters. I'm sure they make one, just look around Google. This type of setup is probably going to be pretty expensive. Most of those converters can be well over 100 dollars.
If you can't find one, I'd get one that outputs VGA and buy one of those VGA/Component cables.
**update**
Why don't you just buy a set of component cables for those devices? Don't those devices support that?
