PSP Battery Doesn't work

Ok after I took out the little thing in the Battery and put it back in the PSP doesn't turn on. It that a good thing. I haven't made the magic memory stick yet.

does the green light come on but the screen stays black if so then you have made the pandoras battery correct

NVM I plug the home charger in then took it out and put the Pandora battery in and it works.

But it shows the regular screen not the black.
