Well its been months that i have not been able to burn anything. a few times very very small cds work. but anything else. 100% fails.

I have: ¨LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1633S¨

(I think it says its ¨system files: diconnected)under the properties but my windows is in spanish soooo i really dont know.

I just want to know what i should check before i go out and spend money on another one.

any fast help as i want to do it today. will be great
