pioneer dvr40hx conversions??

i have aquired a pioneer dvr40hx dvd recorder which i find pretty good in all honest. however i put an item onto a dvd-rw which i wanted to convert to a format suitable for putting on my nokia n95. however when i try to open the disc it states windows does not recognise disc? does anyone know (a)what format the said dvd recorder records in & (b) any way to get codecs to support this format? any help appreciated.... thanx

ihave now got this working on pc as i hadnt finalised dvd-rw. however if anyone knows how to convert dvd vob files to 3gp it would be greatly appreciated.
