Hey guys.

I need a little help with wiring up the 2 fans on my case.

At the front there is a fan with a 3-pin connector and a 4 pin Molex, and one on the back that?s the same.

There is also another connection at the front that requires a 4-pin Molex connection too.

All of the Molex connections mentioned above have an input and output, like a 'Y' shape.

Looking at my power supply there is 2 lines of cables which have 3 Molex outputs spaced about 3 inches apart along the cables, (at the end I think there s something to with a floppy disk drive)

But there is so many connectors... how do I know that I plugging it all in correctly. Is there any simple explanation that can be given of how to wire them all together?

Any help on this would be really appreciated; as soon as I get this figured out I can get the computer powered on (or blow it or myself up: P one of the two)

If anyone knows of any wiring diagrams or websites with some detailed information on this that would be amazing too.

Btw the instructions I got have no information on doing this what so ever, and I don?t know how serious it is if I get this very wrong so, thanks for any help! :)

Fans are given multiple connectors so you have options as to how you set them up - it can be quite nasty if you get this wrong. If I'm right you have fans that have a passthrough 4-pin molex (i.e. one that allows you to use a connector from your power supply, but leave an extra connector so you haven't "lost" a connector by using the fan) and a 3-pin motherboard header, like this:

In this case, if you want the fan's speed to be automatically controlled by your motherboard (if your board has that feature, not all do), then plug the small 3-pin connector into the relevant connector on the board. If you don't need this, or don't have enough spare connectors on your motherboard, then connect a cable from your Power supply to the 4-pin on the fan that fits (one of them won't). If the fans are close enough together, you can use the other 4-pin connector and attach it to the second fan's matching one. If not, use two power connectors.
