can you play iso games on a psp 3.80 FW?

I have no idea what i am doing, i need lots of help, i want to play iso and cso games on my psp. i thnk it's a 3.80 firmware but i am not a hundred percent. i tried everything that i could find to play them, i tried to install pandora battery it didn't work i tried to get it to be a 1.50 it didn't work... can i play iso games without tampering with my battery itself??

In the psp xmb (main screen) go to system settings>system information.
The firmware is listed next to system software.
If it just has 3.80 you have ofw.
If it says 3.80 m33 and above then you have cfw.
