Got a lap top with w/v on it. was working great till about 3 days ago. wifi shows it reads signal but wont connect. i have looked aound thru the files and nothing i se that is wrong. have good anti virus, defrage each week, and do updates as they come in!
any help would be welcomed.

Try rolling back the Wireless Networking Card driver to a previous one... I've had issues on my Compaq with with it not connecting to a network after a Microsoft Hardware update...
