i have avg 7.5 and its done may 31st and now its going to 8.0 but not sure if its gonna be free or ill have to pay for it!!!what do i do if its not free?? where can i get free anti-virus software?? what do i do??

The way I read Grisoft's notification note, no, 8.0 is not free.
Have used AVG for some time and found it reliable, can't afford annual antivirus fees on top of all other expenses. Can any one please reccommend a reliable free anti virus?
I have found avg antivirus to be a little unreliable, especially with a certain kind of pretty common keylogger trojan. I install avast free version instead, with avg antispyware which IS excellent.
To svtstang and to iluvendo especially (thanks for the link). I've now also downloaded 8.0, it's up and running. I deleted 7.5, was that the right thing to do? Thanks again guys!
