MPEG-4 or WMV for my Zune 80 GB?

I am thinking about buying Zune 80GB instead of an 80GB Ipod Classic. My brother has the Ipod Classic and puts his videos on it in MPEG-4 and the quality is amazing! One of my friends has a Zune 30GB and the video quality on his sucks. I don't know what format his videos are in, but after looking at my WMV videos on my computer, there quality isn't that great, so I am assuming that he uses WMV. When comparing the same video file on my computer in WMV and my brother's computer in MPEG-4 I found that his quality is perfect and the file is half the size of mine. So, my question to you Zune users is, Do the MPEG-4 files transfer just as fast as the WMV files when you are syncing your zune? Do you have any trouble with using MPEG-4 over WMV when it comes to your zune? Does the wireless sync still work with MPEG-4 files? Any other pros or cons of the Zune 80GB are appreciated. (But please don't try to convince me to buy an Ipod instead, I have already decided on the Zune)
