ive posted this already on the windows hardware bit but think its in the wrong place>?? so start again,,,,
HI, had a few probs with the pc like slow internet connection, certain pages not loading, the screen looking different, eg, no little green squares when loading a page, so i did some looking about,, tried "network connections,", nothing came up, so i went onto Services.msc and found that almost all of them had been disabled?????
how, why?? the only thing i can think of is that windows did an update, its the first one since we had a new windows SP2, on the pc,
its validated so should this disable every service?? i had to get my laptop and copy what was running, manual, automatic from that to the pc, as i dont know what should be on etc, all seems ok now but what disabled so many??
any ideas?
