Playing PS1 Backups on Slimline PS2?

Hi I've got some PS1 backups from a friend which are in NTSC and i've got other PAL format backups , and i've got this old Blaze Xploder V4 , I've heard this can play backups including NTSC one's is this true? , Thanks!

Not that I know of.

You could get Breaker Pro, it works great for PS1 games.

Or you could follow this method.
