I have a WRT54G Linksys Router... My desktop is connected via a CAT5e cable at 100mb/s and my laptop is connected at 54mb/s via Wireless G. I'm trying to copy my .mp3 collection from my desktop to my laptop, both computers are running XP Pro SP2 and have recently been fresh installed. The issue I'm having is that it only copies at about 2.5mb/s which is about 40% of the Wireless G potential. So my question is, is there a way to copy at the full speed of the wireless connection or am I stuck at the slower speeds?
