Hello, I have been searching through these threads forever and couldn't find an answer. I have a horribly scratched copy of Ape Escape and wanted to make a backup. So I downloaded it from romhustler.net and got a bin/cue file. Coolness. I used Alcohol 120% after I checked to make sure the .cue file was the correct format using notepad and burned it using the RAW DAO write method and a 8x speed (the lowest I could get it to write) and I checked the Enable Underrun Buffer and the Rectify Sub-Channel Data and I used Swap Magic 3 (CD Version) and it says that its not a valid PS2 disk. I used Memorex CD-R 700 MB 52X.

Question: Why does it say "Not a Valid PS2 Disk", is there something I missed? A setting for PS1 in Swap Magic? Not having a problem so far though with Need Larger TOC since I haven't started burning to DVD's yet.

What settings do you use for Alcohol 120% and what kind of CD-R's do you use. Give me a detailed walkthrough for how you personally got your back-up's working. I burned 12 bad disks already. I also tried Brave Fencer Musashi and FF7/FFT since these are hard to find also.

Swapmagic is for PS2 games not PS1.
