SONY VAIO "CLICK TO DVD" HELP

I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY USED SONY VAIO "CLICK TO DVD" MANY TIMES. HOWEVER MY LAST ATTEMPT TO CREATE A DVD HAD THE FOLLOWING PROBLEM. ONCE I HIT THE "CREATE DVD" BUTTON THE CONVERTING FILES BEGINS AND PROCESSES FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES. WHEN IT GETS TO THE POINT OF CONVERTING AUDIO AND VIDEO THE PROCESS STOPS WITH THE MESSAGE "CANNOT CONVERT THE CAPTURED FILES" I HAVE TRIED REINSTALLING THE SOFTWARE AND EVEN CALLED SONY TECH FOR HELP BUT THEY COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT. ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE ANY ADVICE. NEW GRANDBABY DVD VERY IMPORTANT! THANKS.

With your caps lock on, it seems like you're shouting at the people trying to help you! Please turn your caps lock off!

iluvendo is right on. If you're just trying to make a copy of a home dvd, you don't need anything special. Follow the advice he gave and you'll be just fine.

So sorry for the caps. Thank you for your responses.

I am not copying a DVD. I transfered video to my PC from my camera onto Click to DVD. Now I want to create the DVD, Does your advice still apply?

It's so frustrating to have something work fine and then have these problems. I've made a dozen DVDs on this program from my videos. :(
