, and have read load of forums over the last 2 days. All menchions tons of ideas, files , programs etc for updateing flashing ,key refreshing etc. My first prob is accessing the dreambox. I have got arround intial prob of ip address due to the many devices on my home network. Can now see the box and can open a ftp link to it. However , dream up will not connect even when i use the same ip to connect, as i do in ftp ?? My next prob is the fles to up load and to install them. I have gotten gemini 430 as it seams to be the most used file on dream boxs due to ease of use (via the blue button i understand) but its file format is "nfi" if i can sucessfull move this file to the dream box where should it be put and how is it installed?? i have used the management program on the dream box to locate the file that i managed to get in the tmp folder and hit the red button to execute the file but a progress bar appeared and nothing futher happened. Last question is reguarding updating the keys that are menchioned in nearly every forum i have read, is this automatic once connected to the net, do you have to install a program to retrieve them for you ??
I understand i am asking alot of help and information , but would really like to make the most of my purchase. I under stand the best way to learn these things is buy doing , but at the moement i have grinded to a halt.
