Hey all! I have a psp slim runing cfw 3.90 m33 and I have managed to get Daedalus R14 running from my Game Menu. I have downloaded a few N64 Roms which have saved as .7z file, so I extracted them using 7zip and tried putting the whole folder into the Rom File in the Daedalus files. This didnt work, so can someone explain what type of file or what not to get these games to play. So far I've tried Starfox 64 and Mario Cart 64 which I downloaded from

Do the roms show up when you open Daedalus? Unzip the files (i think i used winrar), then copy the rom into the folder within the Deadalus folder called ROMS (or something like that - i dont have my PSP with me atm to check.) They should then show up within Daedalus.
The path should be somthing like this:
x:\PSP\GAME\Daedalus\Roms\your game here.z64 (assuming x is your PSP drive letter when connected to your PC.)
That being said, Daedalus is very unstable in its current state. Many ROM's will not run, and many of the ones that do are very choppy. Although i have had Mario Kart 64 running on my PSP, i had to switch the sound off (in the emulator settings) and it was still quite choppy (but still playable...kind of.)
Hopefully the next update will solve these problems.
Hope that helps.

EDIT: i am assuming you have the R14 Beta version of Daedalus, as i dont think the full version is available yet?
Yeah - R14 Beta. The roms do show up in Daedalus but I keep getting errors. Is there another N64 Emulator availiable? I've seen videos on youtube which show the games with choppy play. If its still poor quality play I think I'll wait.
Thanks for the info

No, Daedalus is the only N64 emu in development atm. Hopefully when the full R14 version comes out, it will be much improved on the Beta.
As i said, i had MK64 running on my PSP, i just had to switch off the sound. it was playable, but still quite choppy. Its worth giving it a try though :).
