Is it possible to use some kind of reverse type splitter (called a diplexer or something I think) to put an HD antennae signal on the same cable that's bringing in analog? I'm hoping to to splice them right when the analog comes into the house so I can receive both sets of channels from all TVs.

I'm looking for a way to NOT have to run a separate cable from the antennae to every TV in the house which would effectively make me double the wall cable sockets.

I understand that certain analog channels may cause distortion if they're run on the same cable (like FOX coming from analog cable and the basic FOX coming from antennae disrupting each other). Is this an issue? If so, if I were to just ignore these channels (since they'd all supposedly have an HD counterpart coming from the antennae thus making the basic analog useless) would that work?

PS: I understand I may have to use some kind of separator at the TV itself to plug the analog cable and the antennae into their respective ports.
