So you're trying to make copies of your copies?
Nero should do that just fine, ImgBurn would as well.
Do the copies play fine in the pc as well as your standalone?

Are the disc surfaces (of the copies) clean and scratch free?
Were they originally burned on crappy cheap media?
Do they play ok in pc and dvd player?
Does your drive need a quick swiffer?

Bad/damaged disc. Try it in another burner as some are better readers.

You can also turn the read speed down in Imgburn to give your burner a better chance at success if reading from an iffy source disc.

Hey to all and Scotty, I recently replied to a thread that Saugmon had replied to (sorry can't recall the details) but essentially it was with regards to VERBATIM discs. After burning several discs, it has come apparent that the quality of these aren't up to scratch. The diss are made in Thaiwan, and have a SIGNIFICANT BURR on the underside of the readable surface. I have bought several stacks of these discs at $AUD 10.00 from a prominant retailer here in Australia, and have had several stuff ups with the burning process....(coasters) Take care with YOUR purchases. :)
LOCO did you recieve my new email addy or not? I didn't get a PM or nothin'. What is it with Moderators eh? All they do all day, is try to make this place a better place........Shamefull stuff indeed..
Cheers one and all...

being Verbatim........ the iffy stuff is the made in India Verbatims. the ones made in Tawain/Singapore has always been top of the line! I haven't heard any of these disk gone bad. But then again, I only use Taiyo Yuden, the best disks, IMOP!

I also use the TY's, but i've got my fair share of Verbs as i can just go to the store and buy them as opposed to ordering.
Going to agree with Ivan here, the stuff to be leery of are the MII's. I would rate the Singapore/Taiwan discs as a second to the TY's.
