Ok, i started my comp yesterday and it looked fine at the user screen, but when i logged in to my account my desktop didnt appear, only My Documents popped up, i tried doing a system restore , but it said the wasnt a restore point to use, so then i did a back up of my files just in case. The i tried to do advanced recovery to recover all the files, and once it was finished i resterted but nothing changed.. what do i do :s

do u think i should format my C:/ disk and then resire the files with the backup?
